Pinch Media is a young London-based Production Company set up by Director Mirko Pincelli and Producer Enrico Tessarin, focusing on feature film and documentary with a strong online focus. It started by producing three seasons of award-winning web drama ‘Sofia’s diary’, for Sony TV Europe and beActive. ‘Sofia’s diary’ was nominated at the Broadcast Digital Awards and broke all viewing records with over 5 million hits in its first week after its release in 2008. Their next project was a series of short documentaries for the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust. In 2011 It produced its first feature film, ‘The Knot’, featuring BAFTA-winner actor / director Noel Clarke as well as Hollywood stars Mena Suvari, Talulah Riley and Matthew McNulty. Uspomene 677 (www.uspomene677.com) is their first feature documentary selected for Raindance 2011 and nominated for an award.
‘My words and I’ is their second feature documentary shot in Italy in late 2011/12. For 2012 they are developing their first documentary series for an international audience and working on the script for a feature film called ‘The Habit of Beauty’ due to be shot in late 2012.
